a great place to work? Qualifications: Qualifications Under the
direction of the Asst Director of SUD and TCM services, the
Clinical Manager will provide oversight, guidance, and supervision
to the staff of the programs identified within SUD which includes
clinicians, coordinators, and case managers, allowing easy access,
timely response, and flexibility to service delivery in the
community, home, and/or office. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMINISTRATION AND SUPERVISION: Actively manages program
requirements and activities. Oversees the daily workflow of the
program. Participates in the quality improvement and assurance
activities including tracking and reporting on quality measures and
staff Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) throughout the program.
Provide leadership to employees within the program. Provide direct
supervision for all program staff, including, but not limited to,
time sheet review and approval, meeting with staff for supervision
at least bi-weekly, providing work assignments and direction,
performance management, and staff performance reviews. Monitor
agency, division, and position specific KPIs and discuss with
staff. Participate in the recruiting process and make hiring
decisions. Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new
staff and identifies training needs for current staff. Attends all
UCS and community meetings necessary to promote coordination and
communication. DIRECT CLINICAL SERVICES: Provides assessment,
individual and group therapy to those with mental illness and/or
substance use disorder. Services may include individuals,
families/couples, and/or group therapy. Participates in
collaboration with state partners, facilitating or assigning cases
and supporting FAST, program expansion, and clinical program goals.
Coordinates services with other agencies and providers. Facilitates
appropriate referrals for other services when necessary. PROGRAM
DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNITY AWARENESS: Provide community awareness of
programs and services provided for those with Mental Illness and
SUD by reaching out to community partners whom UCS may work
collaboratively. Primary contacts may include SUD providers, state
partners, and others. Once contacts and assessments are made, will
develop and implement programs to meet needs following best
practice. Acts as liaison with statewide and community agencies.
CONSULTATION AND EDUCATION SERVICES: Provides mental health and/or
substance use consultation to community at large, area agencies,
the professional community. Consultation can be educational or
evaluative in nature. Specific areas of consultation/education are
based on clinicians' areas of expertise or interest. CLINICAL
RECORD KEEPING: Initiates and maintains compliance of timely and
thorough record keeping and administrative/clinical documentation
required to account for services to clients and program
requirements. Such work includes, but is not limited to,
client-specific assessments, case services, and progress notes,
time sheets, schedules, and assigned periodic reports. * In
addition to the above, performs other duties as assigned. REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or
related counseling field with experience working with children and
families. Supervisory experience required. Licensure in Vermont as
Social Worker, Psychologist or Mental Health Professional. Valid
Driver’s License Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time
management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability
to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
