Job Description:
As a key player in our mission at Clean Harbors to provide
comprehensive environmental services, the CDL Driver- Environmental
Field Chemist is responsible for safely transporting hazardous and
non-hazardous waste while complying with all governmental
regulations. Additionally, this role involves on-site and
field-based chemical analysis, identification, and remediation
services. You will collaborate closely with project managers and
other team members, ensuring effective waste treatment, disposal,
and emergency response services that align with our commitment to
safety, sustainability, and environmental conservation. Transport
hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with state and
federal regulations. Perform -situ chemical analysis and
classification of waste materials. Prepare and manage documentation
such as manifests, bill of lading, and other transportation-related
documents. Ensure compliance with environmental policies and
procedures at all times. Participate in emergency spill responses
as required. Handle and operate mandatory equipment, including
transportation and chemical analysis instruments, safely and
effectively. Clear understanding of DOT regulations. Proficiency in
handling hazardous materials and use of PPE. Capability to perform
physical tasks in different environmental conditions. Strong
analytical skills for chemical identification and analysis.
Effective communication and documentation skills. Medical Insurance

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement. 40-hour
HAZWOPER certification.
