The Role

The Digifabshop Driver & Logistics Associate is responsible for loading, unloading and driving our truck, van or lighter vehicle to deliver or pick up merchandise, supplies, materials, or completed projects. When not driving, the Driver & Logistics Associate assists with the crating and loading completed projects for delivery as well as unloading shipments of merchandise and supplies.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles for short and long distances
  
• Package, load, and unload goods and products safely and efficiently
  
• Complete Driver s Daily Log as per DOT requirements
  
• Complete on-board mileage log in vehicles
  
• Keep track of all receipts, packing lists, invoices, and other paperwork and deliver to appropriate parties
  
• Obey all traffic signals and laws regardless of jurisdiction
  
• Keep vehicles in a clean, orderly condition and alert management of any malfunctions or maintenance needs
  
• Assist other associates with crating, shipping, and receiving of goods and complete projects as required
  
• Measure and mark with accuracy according to written or verbal instructions and basic diagrams
  
• Assist with on-site installations when necessary
  
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with OSHA industry standards
  
• Meaningfully contribute to team meetings, training, policies, strategy and culture.
  Skills & Background
  
  • Basic Mathematics
    
  • Frequent heavy lifting of up to 75lbs
    
  • Ability to operate 26 straight truck
    
  • Valid Class B CDL preferred, but not required
    
  • Forklift Certification Preferred
