Our Mortgage team is hiring!



Our office is located at 1187 Troy Schenectady Road, Latham, NY however open to role having remote capability, after training period.



Typical hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm


Salary range, $88k+ based on experience.



The primary responsibility of this position is to analyze and manage interest rate and credit risk for mortgage loans related to maintaining loans in portfolio and selling loans into the secondary market.



Ensure that secondary marketing strategies are executed in a timely and efficient manner to meet the philosophy and directives of senior management.
Advise on interest rate and delivery risk management of trades assigned to adjustable rate mortgage, conventional and conforming loan products of the company.

Perform daily pricing of mortgage products based on management inputs.
Meet or exceed the assigned product profit goals as established by senior management.
Preparation of forecasts of projected profit and loss figures for all deliveries on a monthly basis.
Be responsive to the needs of production network by providing the most competitive products, rates and prices available.
Execute whole loan transactions on a flow basis.
Reconcile and confirm trading activity with 3rd party and internal shipping and accounting departments.
Maintains Lock-desk; accepts, record and maintain all lock-in records. Monitors rate lock expiration dates and manage extension requests. Purchase forward commitments from investor agencies, when appropriate. Maintain and develop product parameters for new and existing products in pricing system.
Responsible for managing vendor relationships including Risk Management company and Correspondent lenders.
Ensure the accuracy of data entered into Product & Pricing Engine.
Establish membership on ALCO Committee and advise on fund management as applicable.



Candidates should have a Bachelors/Master's degree in Finance or related field. Minimum 3yr experience working in mortgage banking, secondary marketing and accounting. Highly disciplined attention to financial detail, strong quantitative and analytical skills. Familiarity with Optimal Blue suite of products and multiple LOS systems preferred. Experience with spreadsheets, financial research tools and relational databases are helpful.
