Hope House is offering a Sign-On Bonus to qualified candidates
hired as new employees to fill various part-time and full-time
positions.
To be eligible for the Sign-On Bonus, the employee must not be
considered a temporary employee. In addition, employees are
eligible for the bonus one time only. Candidates will receive 50%
of the bonus upon their second paycheck, and the remainder upon
successfully completing their probationary period of employment
with Hope House. The total amount of the Sign-On Bonus is as
follows:
$750 (work an average of at least 40 hours per week)
$375 (work an average of between 20-39 hours per week)
$188 (work less than 20 hours per week)
Please note that all Sign-On Bonuses will be subject to lawful
withholdings and deductions. Hope House reserves the right to
discontinue the Sign-On Bonus at any time at its discretion.

Staff in our various programs that are located throughout Albany
and Troy, NY.
Hope House is a substance abuse treatment provider who strives to
save lives, recover hope and restore families to those suffering
from Substance Abuse Disorder. We are committed to making sure that

+ This is a Part-time position.
+ A Per Diem employee is an on-call employment.
+ This is a non-exempt/hourly position.
Hours vary and are generally 4pm - 12am and 12am - 8am , including
weekends. We currently have a strong need for individuals who are
able to work overnight hours.
Compensation: $14.20 - $16.33
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Monitoring clients, ensuring client safety, communicating with
our staff members, medication oversight, and completing shift
logs.
+ Provide staff coverage as needed.
+ Maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of each client in the
delivery of services to them. Interact with clients in a manner
that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment.
+ Ensure clients are adhering to the program rules.
+ Maintain the established schedule for the residential
programs.
+ Maintain the safety and security of the program.
+ Fully understand all aspects of clients rights. Responsible for
promptly reporting to management incidents or evidence of client
abuse or violation of clients rights.
+ Monitor the interactions of the clients and when necessary,
intervene.
+ Maintain necessary logs and communicate pertinent
information.
+ Assist in maintaining a safe, neat and clean environment; report
environmental deficiencies to management (i.e., lighting, equipment
problems).
+ Communicate and interact effectively with clients, visitors,
families' peers, and supervisors.
+ Perform all job responsibilities in accordance with prescribed
safety and infection control procedures.

Education and Experience::
+ High School Diploma/GED required.
+ Human Service Background a plus.
