Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Packaging Operator Location: East Durham, NY Pay Range: $24.75 Shift: 12.5-hour shifts, 2/2/3 rotation, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am What's the Job? Operate state-of-the-art fully automated toothpaste packaging lines at speeds up to 450 tubes per minute Handle packaging materials including cases, cartons, shippers, labels, caps, and pallets Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment to ensure optimal operation Perform autonomous maintenance activities and assist technicians with preventive maintenance Conduct inventory checks and manage packaging materials and finished goods What's Needed? High school diploma or GED Ability to work 12-hour shifts with every other weekend off Basic computer skills including data entry, email, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to routinely lift up to 55 pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business operations What's in it for me?
