Job Description:

As a CDL Route Driver-Local for Clean Harbors, you will play an essential role in supporting our mission to provide a wide range of environmental, energy, and industrial services. Based in North America, you will primarily focus on safely transporting hazardous waste from customer sites to designated Clean Harbors facilities using company vehicles. Our drivers are critical to our operations and contribute significantly to the safety and environmental standards we champion. Operate Class A or B tanker trucks to transport hazardous waste from client sites to Clean Harbors facilities, adhering to all DOT regulations and safety standards. Ensure complete documentation of cargo, including manifests, work orders, and exceptions, in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines. Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on transport vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues or maintenance needs. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to report delays, deviations in route, or any safety concerns. Participate in and complete all required safety training sessions and compliance procedures. Engage with customers professionally to maintain the integrity of the company and the satisfaction of our clients. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Familiarity with DOT regulations and hazardous waste transport compliance Ability to manage and maintain accurate logs and reports Problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) - Class A or B with Hazardous Material and Tanker Endorsements DOT medical certificate Clean driving record
