Job Description Job Description Role Description JLS Paving LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A Truck Driver for a full-time, on-site role based in Hamden, CT. The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport materials and equipment to various job sites. Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following designated routes and schedules, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with loading and unloading of equipment. The role requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining transportation efficiency and safety standards. Qualifications Must possess a valid CDL A license and a clean driving record Experience in operating and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and related equipment Strong understanding of safety procedures and traffic regulations Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance Physical stamina and the ability to lift materials as needed Knowledge of working in the paving/asphalt or construction industry is a plus Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime, as needed Company Benefits: Competitive pay ($31-$40 per hour depending on experience) Medical benefits 401K
