To learn more about us: Our Team!We have an immediate need for a Technology Services Specialist to join our team at our Corporate office in Troy, NY. This position reports directly to the Manager of Business Systems.This is a full-time role offering a salary of $50-55K, based on candidate's level of experience, education, and qualifications.The traditional work schedule will be Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm) at the Corporate office. This role may be required to periodically travel to markets throughout the State of New York, Florida, Georgia, and other states as needed.Key Responsibilities:The responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by the Technology Services Specialist:

    • Deployment of systems and tools as directed by the organization's vision and strategy.
    • Procure the organization's IT assets (hardware, software, applications, security, phone systems, building security, etc.).
    • Keep abreast on industry's best practices, trends, processes and tools. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional networks.
    • Implement technology solutions for meetings, presentations, remote work, teleconferencing, and remote accessibility
    • Effectively manage the organization's relationship with third party vendors and external collaborators
    • Provide trainings on current technology tools, best practices, and new platforms
    • Lead technology onboarding and offboarding of employees through asset and account management, set-up, training, and policy review
    • In collaboration with Human Resources and our Managed Services Provider, keep the Company's Electronic Workplace policy and procedures up to date and suggest policy improvements. Support enforcement of these policies and procedures.
    • Verifies effectiveness of information technology tools by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
    • Preserves assets by managing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
    • Identifies IT and IT-related system problems and troubleshoot issues and present solutions.
    • Provide real-time customer support service to all employees and users of the Company's technology.
    • Other duties may be assigned
      • Train new and existing employees on workflows/procedures related to software systems via in person, telephone, and webinar sessions
      • Creates and designs training materials, handouts, and related materials necessary to train new and existing staff
      • Plan, set-up and perform training webinars on a broad set of software applications
        • Develops Standard Operating Procedures for to positively impact business operations
        • Creates and maintains operations and training materials associated with United's integrated systems
        • SECURITY + ACCESS:
          • Provides support to include initial access for new users, menu set-up, and security
            • Helps resolve daily issues that occur with performance, report questions, and day-to-day operational issues
            • Demonstrates ability to manage difficult situations and resolving issues in a harmonious manner
            • Become knowledgeable with company-specific business processes and needs; continually look for ways to leverage system capabilities to improve efficiency through workflow, automation, and process improvement
            • Bridging the gaps between and among the various business user groups and ensuring that the needs of each group are met.
            • COMMUNICATION:
              • Communicate resolution of issues to users in professional and timely mannerDesired Skills + Experience:
                • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent practical knowledge/experience.
                • Required Experience: Minimum 2+ years in an IT asset support role to include working within operations software, preferable Software as a Service models. Minimum 1-3 years of customer service/technical support service in a fast-paced business environment
                  • Strong work ethic and ability to work both individually and in group settings
                  • Possess the maturity and skills to de-escalate user with challenging problems and time constraints
                  • High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
                  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
                  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor and presentation
                  • Strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills
                  • Provide outstanding client service, meet high quality standards for services and meet or exceed client expectations. Proactive in seeking innovative ways in which to help others
                  • Candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
                  • Recognize confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information and maintain such as confidential
                  • Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, effectively prioritize multiple tasks
                  • Proven experience as high level help desk support
                  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, organization-wide security, and of computer hardware/software systems
                  • Expertise in IT asset management, data governance, and inventory control
                  • Experience training users and sharing updated best practices
                  • Experience interfacing with and managing relationships with third party vendorsBenefits + Perks:
