St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates has excellent full
time employment opportunities for licensed and certified Physician
Assistants who have an interest in practicing within a
well-respected Cardiology group located in the Capital District of
The selected providers will join a highly regarded group,
established in 1980 that is committed to delivering the highest
quality, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to patients through
evidenced-based guidelines. The group consists of more than two
dozen physicians and Advanced Practitioners treating patients
across four hospitals; St. Peters Hospital and Albany Memorial
Hospital in Albany, Samaritan Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in
Troy. The practice offers a vast range of services including
General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, Vascular
Clinics, Nuclear Cardiology, electrophysiology and Interventional
Cardiology at St. Peter's and Samaritan Hospitals. Providers in
this group enjoy access to sub-specialty care in our communities.
Instrumental in establishing an Interventional program at St.
Peter's Hospital, the practice has been a top 100 Heart Hospital
for 10 years and provides Medical Directorship of St. Peter's
Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Program.
Physician Assistants practice alongside Cardiologists in both the
hospital inpatient setting and the outpatient clinic treating the
adult population. The schedule for this full-time opportunity is
Monday through Friday with weekend call rotation.
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess one to two years
of experience in a Cardiology setting, with Electrophysiology/
device experience being a plus. Candidates should also possess or
be eligible to obtain New York State licensure and a DEA as well as
ACLS and BLS certifications.
