adult patients facing neurological, cardiac, trauma, and

64-bed unit, including 15 beds dedicated to neuro care. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult
patients with complex diagnoses including COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI,
and post-operative cardiac stepdown. - Utilize specialty equipment
such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and
assist respiratory therapists with chronic ventilators. -
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal
patient outcomes in a fast-paced IMCU/PCU setting. - Be adaptable
to floating assignments as needed across unit areas. - Maintain
professional documentation according to established protocols
within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Qualifications &
Experience: - Active Registered Nurse license in New York State
with verifiable credentials. - Minimum of 2 years recent experience
in IMCU/PCU environments. - Documented travel nursing experience
preferred, with an up-to-date resume including this background. -
Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS). -
Valid drivers license matching address demographics. - Proficiency
in EPIC EMR system mandatory. - Ability to work a 6:30 AM to 7:00
PM shift with flexible block scheduling and floating requirements.
