Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Albany, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,699 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Albany, New York, 12208! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: 2-3 years of CVICU experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: Trauma Level One experience required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Epic experience is required. Navy blue scrubs are required. Trauma Level One experience is mandatory. Competency test required within 24 hours of submission. Ensure an up-to-date email is provided upon submission. Effective January 11, 2024, local candidates from ineligible counties are not accepted. Competency in managing immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring the ICU is essential. Experience with high acuity patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring is necessary. Skills include proficiency with vents, a-lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation, and monitoring. Experience with temporary pacemakers and vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations is required. This position is being opened due to a vacancy. No requirement to float to other units. The facility has a specific number of beds. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role may involve review by others in the organization during the interview or selection process. Candidates with a pending state license will not be considered. The work schedule is defined by the shift times listed. The electronic medical record system for the facility will be specified separately. Scrub colors and dress code are specified.
