Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg / Telemetry (MS/Tele) Location: Rome, New York Assignment Type: Travel Nursing We are seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment based in Rome/Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will be confident managing high-acuity medical-surgical and telemetry patients while providing safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Requirements Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required NIH Stroke Certification required prior to assignment start Minimum 2 years of current MS/Telemetry nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience preferred Clinical Skills Strong IV therapy and vascular access skills Experience managing cardiac drips Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation Skilled in comprehensive wound care management Ability to safely care for telemetry and medical-surgical patient populations Assignment Details Floating to Medical-Surgical units required Every other weekend and holiday coverage required Ability to adapt quickly to unit workflows and patient acuity levels Tripod Partners USA Job ID 95.
