Porter Medical Center, a key institution within the University of Vermont Health Network, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Multimodality Radiology Tech to join our dynamic radiology team. This position requires proficiency in multiple imaging modalities including MRI, CT, and X-ray, tailored to meet the comprehensive needs of our diverse patient population. Operate and maintain all radiology imaging equipment including MRI, CT, and X-ray. Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and clarity. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician's orders. Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure safe and effective use of radiology equipment. Analyze results and collaborate with radiologists to provide accurate diagnoses. Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures performed. Continuously update skills to keep pace with advancements in medical imaging technologies. Expertise in MRI, CT, and X-ray imaging techniques. Strong understanding of radiology safety and protection principles. Ability to interpret physician instructions and patient medical histories. Proficient in use of imaging software and patient management systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist. Additional certifications in MRI, CT preferred.
