This position requires managing the care of patients in the Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care, and maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with an expert team of health professionals including physicians, other nurses, and specialist staff. Monitor and provide patient care in an ICU setting Administer medications and maintain patient health records Work collaboratively with doctors and staff to implement comprehensive patient care plans Adapt to diverse health situations and adhere strictly to all safety and hygiene standards Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens Advocate for patient needs and provide emotional support to patients and their families Strong clinical skills with proficiency in managing intensive care unit patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to make critical decisions under pressure Proficiency in using medical software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
