Job Description:
Join the dedicated team at Albany Medical Center as a Clinical
Nurse II within our Critical Care Float Pool. This position plays a
crucial role in providing exceptional care to critically ill
patients across various units, ensuring adaptability to diverse
healthcare settings. As a pivotal part of our healthcare system,

education, research, and superior patient care. This role is ideal

in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients across
different units. Assess patient conditions and administer
appropriate clinical interventions. Adjust care plans based on
patient needs and in response to dynamic situations. Work
collaboratively with interdisciplinary health teams to optimize
patient outcomes. Maintain high-quality care documentation and
adhere to hospital protocols. Support patient and family education
regarding critical care processes and health management.
Participate in ongoing professional development and nursing
research opportunities. Expert skills in managing acute patient
care and life support systems such as ventilators and monitors.
Strong ability to adapt to new and changing environments and manage
stress effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare
teams. Proficiency in using healthcare IT systems and electronic
health records. Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in the state. Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification. Certification in Critical Care
Nursing (CCRN) is highly preferred.
