Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Massachusetts requiring telemetry expertise and an active MA RN license. Responsibilities - Work in a Med/Surg hospital unit - Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with 8-hour shifts - Weekend shifts required on an every other weekend basis - Floating to other units as needed is required - No on-call responsibilities - Personal scrubs of any color permitted as dress code - Uses Meditech Expanse EMR (experience highly preferred) - Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical and surgical patients including telemetry monitoring - No block scheduling available for this contract - No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved during the assignment - Holiday coverage may be required as needed - Orientation consists of 8 hours - First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements - Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of application - Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience required - Telemetry experience required - Completion of a basic dysrhythmia course strongly required - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, all active and in hand at time of application - Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred - Must be willing to float to other units - Must have own vehicle for the assignment - Cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility - Work history, Med/Surg skills checklist current to 1 year, and one supervisory reference from the past 2 years required Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667188.
