Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Leominster, MA is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language
Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to
provide support during a maternity leave through mid-April 2026.
This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work
directly with students in person, delivering essential speech
therapy services within a dynamic educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to
students in grades K-12 according to individualized education plans
(IEPs). Collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student communication development.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress
notes, and reports. Participate in team meetings and contribute to
the creation of student goals and interventions. Adapt therapy
approaches to meet diverse student needs, including teletherapy if
necessary. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certification as
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC) or licensure appropriate for schools. Experience
as an SLP or SLPA in school or healthcare settings, especially
Pediatrics. Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models
and pediatric populations is a plus. Strong communication skills
and ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and
staff. Commitment to supporting student growth and development in a
classroom setting. Location: Position is located on-site in
