Job Opportunity – Progressive Critical Care Unit RN – New York Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: Albany, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Average patient load of 3 high acuity patients Highlights: Care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients including respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications Advanced hemodynamic monitoring including pressor titration protocols, antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcotic drips, thrombolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, and orthopedic traction Respiratory support experience with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxygen-dependent patients Epic EMR system utilized throughout facility Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission Requirements: Epic EMR experience required Current New York RN license or ability to obtain ACLS certification required Competency in medical and surgical patient populations Large-scale adult Progressive Care Unit experience or community hospital ICU experience strongly preferred Proficiency in infection prevention protocols and management of high-acuity patient populations Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated team providing exceptional care to the region's most complex and critically ill patients in a progressive critical care environment.
