Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care
Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36
hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Travel
RN – Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU) – Days Location: Albany,
NY Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 12/7 Shift: Days, 7:00
AM – 7:30 PM Experience Required: Minimum 2 years PCCU or ICU
experience EMR: Epic experience required Weekends: Every other
weekend Holidays: Rotating Unit Overview: The Progressive Critical
Care Unit cares for some of the region’s most medically delicate
and surgically complex patients, including: - Respiratory failure -
Sepsis - Closed head injuries - Multi-system organ dysfunction -
Endocrine disorders - Complex trauma and surgical complications
Required Skills: - Competent in medical and surgical patient care -
ACLS certification - Advanced hemodynamic management including
pressors per titration protocols - Management of antihypertensive
drips, sedatives, Narcan, thrombo-embolic agents - A-line, CVP,
EVD, orthopedic traction, infection prevention protocols -
Experience with HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and Oxypendent Patient Load:
