Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel LDRP Registered Nurse - Berlin, Vermont Minimum Years Clinical Experience Required: 1 * must have LDRP experience Minimum Years Clinical Experience in Specialty Required: 1 Patient Care Modality: LDRP with some M/S overflow Facility Location: Berlin, VT 05602 Total of Facility Beds: 88 Inpatient Beds Unit Name: Women and Childrens Unit Unit Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, LDRP Total of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 7 inpatient beds, 3 triage rooms, approximately 300 deliveries/year Documentation System: Epic, Philips Intellispace Medication System: Pyxis Floating Required: Only as helping hands not to take an assignment To what units/facilities: Any within the immediate organization, but just as helping hands or patient sitting Describe the rotation: As needed depending on unit census, uncommon Charge required: Some travelers have oriented to charge after first assignment with us Weekend Requirements: Every other Call Requirements: Yes, 2 12 hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period time frame Holiday Requirements: Yes (2 out of the 4 holidays, required) Patient Population (Diagnoses): Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum Occasional Med/Surg Overflow, Triage Age Range: All Additional Unit Specific Information: RNs must have LDRP experience including independence in a LDRP, including all aspects of care and experience in a community hospital environment that does not have NICU resources on sight. Unit will also take M/S overflow. • 1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable • Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery LDRP Registered Nurse - Berlin, Vermont/n/n Years Clinical Experience Required: 1 * must have LDRP experience/n Years Clinical Experience in Specialty Required: 1/nPatient Care Modality: LDRP with some M/S overflow/nFacility Location: Berlin, VT/nTotal of Beds: 88 Inpatient Beds/nUnit Name: Women and Children's Unit/nUnit Specialty: Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, LDRP/nTotal of Unit: 7 inpatient beds, 3 triage rooms, approximately 300 deliveries/year/n/nDocumentation System: Epic, Philips Intellispace (EPIC required in the last 2 years)/nWeekend Requirements: Every other/nCall Requirements: Yes, 2 12 hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period time frame/nPatient Population: Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum Occasional Med/Surg Overflow, Triage/nAdditional Unit Specific Information: RNs must have LDRP experience including independence in a LDRP, including all aspects of care and experience in a community hospital environment that does not have NICU resources on sight.
