Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry PCU Location: Springfield, Vermont Start Date: November 17, 2025 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights, 36-hour weekly guarantee Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital (25 beds) Unit Type: Adaptive Acuity Unit Our client is seeking an experienced travel nurse for a Med Surg/Telemetry assignment with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) responsibilities. This is an adaptive acuity unit where travelers will be expected to provide PCU-level care (3:1 ratio) when needed. This requirement is non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio - Provide PCU-level care as needed, including management of drips - Serve in a charge nurse capacity throughout the assignment - Float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice as required Qualifications: - Minimum 2 years of current Med Surg/Telemetry experience required - Charge nurse experience required and must be noted in profile - PCU experience strongly required - Drip experience required - ICU experience strongly preferred - Minimum 3 months of prior travel experience required - Experience in small critical access facilities preferred - Must hold a valid Vermont RN license - ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA) required - Must have a permanent address and personal vehicle Submission Requirements: - Complete work history and skills checklist (updated within 1 year) - One supervisory reference signed within the past 2 years - License and certifications must be uploaded with profile - All RTO must be included at time of submission; scheduling requests post-offer will not be approved About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
