The Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH), renowned for its dedication to community wellbeing and quality healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee our dynamic team. As a Clinical Manager at UCVH, you will ensure the integration of innovative clinical practices and the delivery of exceptional patient care. Lead and manage the clinical team to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery and outcomes. Oversee patient care services, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and state regulations. Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures in line with best practices in healthcare management. Monitor and optimize staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources. Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for staff members. Manage departmental budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Collaborate with other department managers and healthcare professionals to facilitate interdisciplinary care. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards Proficiency in healthcare management systems and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license required. Certification in healthcare management (e.g., Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP)) is highly desirable.
