Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saratoga Springs, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Saratoga Springs, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,196 per week for this role. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Prepare, administer (orally, subcutaneously, intravenously), and document prescribed medications. /n /n - Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments according to nursing policies. /n /n - Educate patients on surgical procedures and record their medical information and vital signs. /n /n - Monitor, adjust, and interpret specialized patient equipment and electronic displays. /n /n /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of New York. /n /n - 2 years acute Med/Surg RN experience required. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n - At least 1 year of current experience with telemetry patients. /n /n - Experience with critical drip management and CVA care is a plus. /n /n - NIH Stroke Certification required. /n /n - EPIC electronic medical record experience required. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
