New York facility is looking for a locum to perm Psychiatrist to start as soon as credentialed at their Outpatient Adult Clinic.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hr days with flexible start times (most start at 8:30)
    
  • Call schedule: 1:6 weekends
    
  • EMR: Epic
    
  • Must have familiarity with Group Therapy, Family Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Restraint Application, Seclusion therapy, and Involuntary Commitments.
    
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 15-20 varies based on how many new patients vs follow up. Typically new patients are about 60 minute visits and follow ups are about 20 minutes
    
  • Total Number of Beds: On the inpatient side of things there are 63 total behavioral health beds- not sure what you need here since the opening is for outpatient. The outpatient clinic has roughly 3000 active patients with about 200 scheduled per day.
    
  • How Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 6 psychiatrists and 15 social workers
    
  • Will reimburse for full travel.
    
  • Credentialing timeframe: 2-3 months
