Job Description Job Description Millennium Power Services is seeking a Seasonal Valve Technician Helper to support our valve service team during peak operational periods, with a home base in Westfield, MA and travel to customer sites as needed. This temporary, hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude who are looking to gain experience in industrial valve service and field work. As a Seasonal Valve Technician Helper, you will assist experienced technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial valves. This role focuses on providing practical, on-the-job support while following established safety and quality standards. The position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. This role includes travel to customer sites , where you will support valve service activities across various industries. Both shop and field assignments are expected. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in valve technology is a plus. Proven experience as a Valve Technician or in a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with different types of valves and their applications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficient in using precision tools and instruments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
