Job Description Job Description Job Title: Fabricator Job Description This is a multifaceted role focused on fabricating custom vehicles, trailers, and event structures. As a Fabricator, you will engage in tasks ranging from HVAC ductwork to aluminum siding, light electrical work to auto assembly. Each project is distinct, requiring adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong mechanical aptitude. It also starts at $27 and hour! Responsibilities Build, assemble, install, and finish one-off structures using a wide range of trade skills. Read and interpret blueprints, technical sketches, and drawings. Perform tasks in HVAC, light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and general mechanical systems. Use metal fabrication equipment including brakes, shears, and welders. Fit and bend sheet metal and aluminum components. Trim and install siding, roofs, fascia, and flooring with precision. Collaborate with the team to plan daily tasks, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control. Document work performed and help drive continuous improvement. Essential Skills Proficiency with tape measure, blueprint reading, hand and power tools. Experience in construction, carpentry, fabrication, and electrical installation. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 years of experience in custom fabrication. Demonstrated ability in at least two of the following: welding (MIG/TIG), HVAC (ducting/sheet metal), electrical (AC/DC), plumbing, carpentry, vehicle/RV assembly, or mechanical troubleshooting. Work Environment The position operates on the 1st Shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility starting as early as 5:30 am. Overtime is available until 3:30 or 4:30 pm, and Saturdays are optional with a minimum of 4 hours. Fabricators work in teams of at least 3-4 people alongside a project manager. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
