Job Description Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager is directly responsible for the overall success of the project. The primary focus will be on contract management, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and customer service. This position is located in Albany, NY area. Job Specifications Ability to read and understand Contract Drawings and Specifications Experience drafting subcontractor scopes or work Contract negotiations Logical and organized approach to completing tasks and solving problems Full understanding of all Divisions of work Must have a strong work ethic Ability to forge relationships with the client base Ability to create, manage, and update project Schedule using industry software Successful track record managing projects greater than $15M Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Experience Requirements A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience of project management on commercial construction projects. Must have completed 3 similar projects: Phased, occupied renovation space, and value of $30MM Software proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, P6, and/or Asta Power Project preferred. Work location will be on the project site of the work at any time work is being performed unless an absence is approved. Must have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and the ability to present information to supervisors, groups of clients, top management, or team. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management Preferred Professional Engineering License in the state of New York is preferred.
