Adjunct Instructor, Business HV-ADJ-3323Bus
Business faculty to teach Business Law I and II at the HVCC main campus in Troy, NY.
* Juris Doctor degree or experience teaching Business Law at a post-secondary institution required. Must be available for on-campus daytime instruction.
Business faculty to teach Statistics at the HVCC main campus in Troy, NY.
* Master's Degree in Business Administration (or other relevant graduate-level business degree) or Master's in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited college or university. Must have daytime availability and previous experience and/or a desire to engage in distance learning initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Experience with online delivery systems highly desirable.
DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide classroom instruction in the Business Department.
* Evaluate student performance.
* Participation on departmental, division-wide, and college-wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged.
* At the direction of the Department Chairperson, adjunct faculty shall perform duties as specified in the faculty contract.
* At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.
The salary for Adjunct Instructors is $1,340.00 per contact hour for the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters.
