We support a workplace culture that encourages innovation, creativity, and camaraderie. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Architectural Designer. The selected candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in K-12, higher educational, and/or other municipal projects. The candidate will have experience in working in teams with other professionals including Senior Architects/Project Managers, and project-level architects and engineers. He or she should primarily possess strong design, rendering, and communication skills with detailed technical knowledge of building systems being secondary. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities may vary according to the experience level of the candidate, which may be from existing conditions documentation through design development, renderings, presentations, and construction documents. We expect you will: Meet clientele and work with them to establish program and needs. Generate designs and renderings, both interior and exterior, to the client’s approval. Bring those designs into Construction Drawings alongside the project team under supervision of a Senior Architect/Project Manager. Follow production schedules and meet multiple simultaneous deadlines. Contribute to growing our practice through new business development initiatives including but not limited to assistance with new client outreach, follow-up, and marketing. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Strong design and graphic skills, with ability to work in Sketch-Up, Revit, and other modeling/presentation software packages. Bachelor of Science in Architecture (4-year degree), Bachelor of Architecture (5-year degree) preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Adobe.
