Job Description Job Description Job Title: Construction Estimator Job Description A leading Site/Civil construction firm specializing in a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure development is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in preparing accurate cost estimates for various types of construction projects. You will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, Construction Estimator A leading site/civil construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project plans and specifications Review subcontractor/supplier quotes and develop pricing models Prepare and submit competitive bids Manage and price change orders Use HCSS for estimating and cost management Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders Monitor project budgets and provide cost-performance updates Requirements Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field 5 years of estimating experience in site/civil construction Proficiency with HCSS Strong knowledge of bidding, pricing, and change order processes Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Experience Heavy civil, site development, highways/roadways Preconstruction, proposals, cost modeling, and RFIs Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Poughkeepsie, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $88.00 - $90.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
