Job Description Job Description Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance General Responsibilities: Perform various operations to inspect cutters, set up and operate manual cutter grinding machine to sharpen a variety of milling cutters, maintain records. Must be proficient in cutter grinding of radius and angles. Must have cutter grinding experience, read all measuring equipment including but not limited micrometer, caliper, and optical comparator. Setup, operate, and maintain manual grinding equipment to obtain all work pieces to specifications. Review paperwork instructions and blueprints for accuracy before grinding tools Be proficient in all measurement tools necessary for jobs required including but not limited to micrometer, blueprints, graphs, etc. Work with immediate Supervisor to plan smooth and efficient days maximizing both operator and machine time. Able to lift 40 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Other duties including but not limited to maintaining equipment and daily machine maintenance as well as assist in the general maintenance of the shop area and equipment instructed to keep a neat and orderly work area Experience a must Pay based on experience level
