Mechanic/Supervisor Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay: $28.00-$30.00/hr Position Overview: We are seeking an
experienced Plant Mechanic/Supervisor to oversee daily plant
operations and maintenance activities. This role is a hands-on
leadership position responsible for supervising a small team while
also performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and
repairs on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise plant staff, assign daily tasks,
and monitor performance to ensure production goals are met. Perform
preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on
machinery, equipment, and systems. Ensure all plant equipment is
operating safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime. Coordinate
with management to schedule maintenance, repairs, and special
projects. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and
inventory of parts and supplies. Train and mentor team members on
safety, equipment use, and best practices. Enforce workplace safety
policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and company
standards. Communicate effectively with production teams and
leadership to resolve equipment or staffing issues. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or trade
school preferred. Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a plant
mechanic, maintenance technician, or related role. Previous
supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred. Strong
mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics
and manuals. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and
mechanical systems. Excellent leadership, organizational, and
communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage
priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to
50 lbs. and work in industrial plant conditions.
