Job Description:

Join Waste Connections, a leader in the integrated waste services industry, as a Maintenance Supervisor where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our waste management operations. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring they meet safety standards and operate smoothly to support residential, commercial, and industrial waste management. Supervise and coordinate activities of the maintenance team. Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. Ensure all machines and equipment run reliably and efficiently. Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Manage budgets, maintain inventory, and order tools and supplies. Ensure safety policies are strictly followed. Prepare maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities. Strong leadership and managerial skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in maintaining industrial equipment. Knowledge of budgeting and cost management. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to create accountability and lead by example Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred. OSHA Safety certification.
